Church Board

Responsible for: approving and monitoring budget, establishing policies, procedures, and priorities, proposing bylaws amendments to the congregation for approval, developing long range plans, seeing that the following committees are functioning as needed: Church Ministry, Long Range Planning, Bylaws, Finance, Ministerial Relations, DRE Relations, and the Music Committee.

    Endowment Committee

    (responsible for managing endowment funds and holding title to church property)

    Two Endowment Trustees elected by congregation for two-year terms in even-numbered years
    Two Endowment Trustees elected by congregation for two-year terms in odd-numbered years

    Nominating Committee

    (responsible for: nominating candidates for Church Board, Endowment Committee and Nominating Committee, including mid-term vacancies; identifying and developing future leadership potential)

    Three members elected by congregation for two-year terms in even-numbered years
    Two members elected by congregation for two-year terms in odd-numbered years

    Ministry Committees

    Three are three Ministry Committees.  Each committee as five members: two members are chosen on even year, two members are chosen on odd years, and the fifth member is the UUCR employee.

    1. One is the "COM", or "Committee on Ministry", responsible for coordinating the congregations needs, concerns, and issues to the minister and vice versa. 
    2. The second Ministry Committee is "REMC", or "Religious Education Ministry Committee, responsible for coordinating the congregations needs, concerns, and issues to the "DRE", Director of Religious Education, and vice versa. 
    3. The third Ministry Committee is "MMC", or "Music Ministry Committee, responsible for coordinating the congregations needs, concerns, and issues to the Music Director and vice versa. 

    Coordinating Council

    Responsible for coordinating events, maintaining calendars, resolving "nuts & bolts" of short-term problems, exchanging information, helping to incorporate newcomers, presenting recommendations to Church Board
